Bond had walked for only a few minutes when it suddenly occurred to him that he was being followed. There was no evidence for it except a slight headache and a little knowing the people near him but believed in his sixth sense and he at once stopped in front of the shop window he was passing and looked occasionally back along 46th Street.Nothing but a lot of miscellaneous people were moving slowly on the sidewalks, mostly on the same side as himself, the side that was back from the sun. There was no sudden movement into a doorway, nobody wiping his face with a handkerchief to avoid recognition, nobody bending down to tie a shoelace.
He went on and turned into the Avenue of the Americans, stopping in the first doorway, the entrance to a woman’s underwear store where a man in a blue suit with his back to him was examining the black lace paints on a particularly realisticdummy(模型).
And then something grasped his arm and a voice came,“All right,Limey.Take it easy unless you want lead for lunch,”and he felt something press into his back just above the kidney.
There was a tap as his fist was caught in the other man’s left hand, and at the same time as the contact telegraphed to Bond’s mind that there could have been no gun, there came the well remembered laugh and the lazy voice saying:“No good,James. The angles have got you.”
Bond straightened himself slowly and for a moment he could only gaze into the smiling face of Felix Leiter with blank disbelief, his builtup tension(紧张) slowly relaxing.
“So you were doing a front tail, you bastard(赝品),”he finally said.
60.Bond realized that he was being followed by means of ________.

Are They Interested in You?
Watching the way people hold their arms and legs,or position their hands and bodies, can give an insight into how they are reacting to you.For instance,if you are trying to chat someone up,watch how they position their legs.If they are uncrossed it shows that the person is still undecided about you but open to your approaches. If they cross the leg nearest to you over the other one,so that the nearest knee is directed away from you, they are probably not interested in you and do not wish to be seen with you. However, should they cross the far leg over the one closest to you, thereby directing its knee towards you, then you can be fairly sure that you are making a favorable impression.
Interest is also shown by the person turning the upper part of their body towards you, even if the twist is slight. If they don’t turn towards you,or even turn away from you, your conversation is almost certainly falling on deaf ears.
Similarly,if their arms are folded to form a protective barrier,it shows a lack of interest.
Also, watch their hands. If they keep them out of sight they have no feeling for you, while it shows a desire to be close to you if they push their hands or personal possessions towards you, particularly if they push them across a table into “your half” of it.At the same time, the more eye contact you make, and the more smiles you exchange, the safer you are sure that they are happy with you.
Personal possessions can be helpful in other ways. For instance, someone you find attractive might visit your home and leave something behind. This is usually something small, like a lighter or a bracelet.Their seeming forgetfulness gives them an excuse to come back, not simply to collect the “forgotten” object, but to see you.Don’t miss the opportunity to show your interest when they turn up.
64.The main idea of the passage is ________.
A.the importance of people’s gesture
B.the gesture shows people’s attitude to you
C.the movements of people tell if they love you
D.the interesting movements of people
65.The first paragraph intends to tell us________.
A.different leg movements stand for different attitudes to you
B.crossing their legs means they are interested in you
C.unclosed legs show they have certain opinion to you
D.one of the knees towards you shows you leave good impression to them
66.Which of the following is TRUE according to the passage?
A.If they keep their hands in sight they are interested in you.
B.The more they smile at you,the less likely they show interest to you.
C.Personal belongings left at your home may show their interest to you.
D.If their arms seem to protect themselves it shows they take interest in you.
67.The underlined word “forgotten” in the last paragraph really means ________.
A.failed to remember something
B.pretended to leave something
C.remembered something well
D.left something on purpose
D
Nowadays, instead of turning paper pages, many people reach for handheld devices (设备).These electronic readers (电子阅读器) not only store books to show on a screen, they can also read them out loud.
This month,Amazon lowered the price of its Kindle reader by sixty dollars to just below 300 dollars. The device can download books wirelessly from a store on Amazon’s Website. Most new released books and bestsellers cost 9.99 dollars.Newspapers and magazines are available with monthly charge.
Though reading ebooks is limited by the availability of devices and electricity, buyers of ebooks get a good deal:Traditional hardcover books often cost around 25 dollars while many ebooks are already selling for 99 cents.Books printed on paper are easily shared and resold by anyone. But ebooks can act more like computer software which only works for the user who buys it.Thus ereaders can keep the books really as their personal wealth.Paper books can get worn easily and can even miss some pages, but ebooks always keep what they are just bought.
But some Kindle users got a shock last week. They were surprised to find that the copies of two books disappeared from their devices. They were 99cent versions of George Orwell’s “1984” and “Animal Farm.” As some users were guessing the reason,Amazon explained that he did not have the rights to the books,so he deleted (删除) them.Later he returned the money to the users.
This week,Barnes & Noble, the world’s largest bookseller, started what it calls the world’s largest ebookstore.People can read the books on the Apple iPhone, personal computers and other handheld devices. They can also download over half a million books available free from Google. The Internet search company is putting books online that are no longer protected by copyright (版权).But now Google is trying to reach a legal settlement (合法协议) to make parts of some copyrighted books available.
68.This passage mainly tells us ________.
A.handheld devices are suitable for children
B.ebooks will have a bigger market
C.ebooks offer readers a new way to read
D.the development of books in history
69.What is the advantage of ebooks compared with books printed on paper?
A.Ebooks are not easy to miss pages.
B.Ebooks can be read at any time.
C.Ebooks can be shared by more readers.
D.Ebooks can be sold again after being read.
70.From the passage we can know ________.

now that由于,符合语境。immediately一……就……;even if即使;although尽管。]
23.C [考查主动表被动。根据last month可知应该用一般过去时,排除A、B两项;动词sell要用主动形式表被动含义,因句中所陈述的是唱片的销售情况,没有强调被谁销售,故使用sell的主动形式。]

短文改错
This autumn, my class went to the seaside to go campcamping. We arrived at a sandy beach with a wellgood view of the sea and mountains. We set up our tents on the sandy beach,∧and when night fell we started a fire to give us light and keptkeep us warm. All my classmates sat around themit, talking, singing and laughing. Several hours later, Robert and I went back to the tent to have thea chat. We stayed up all night. We found that we two had a lot of\ in common. For example, we allboth like the same singers and have a great enthusiasm for physics. The fire and stars seesaw our happiness. WhatHow I wished time would stop at the moment!

Dear editor,
Recently students of our school have made a survey of “Views on Newspaper”.The people we interviewed have two different opinions.45 percent of the people enjoy reading newspapers.First of all,as a convenient source of information, reading newspapers is not limited by time.Besides, people can select and read whatever section they are interested in.
However,55 percent of the people don’t turn to newspapers to get information. They hold the idea that newspapers are not very attractive because they lack the sound and video that make other sources of information more exciting to look at than newspapers. What’s more, readers receive information from newspapers later than from the Internet and the TV.
In my opinion, people can make use of whatever means to get information,so long as it’s convenient for them.
