词汇精讲 
1. am
   am和is / are 在英语中称为“be”动词。be动词在句子中作谓语时,需要有人称和数的变化,并且不同的时态中be动词也要有相应的变化。句子的主语是I时,be动词用am。例如:
I am a boy. 我是个男孩。
句子的主语是第三人称单数时,be动词用is。例如:
He is a boy. 他是个男孩。
句子的主语是第二人称单数或者是所有人称代词复数的时候,be动词用are。例如:
You are a good boy. 你是一个好男孩。
【拓展】be动词的用法口诀:
     I用am, you用are, is连着他(he),她(she),它(it)。名词单数用is, 复数一律都用are。
  2. meet
    meet 动词,“遇见, 碰见, 迎接”。其同音词是“meat(肉)”。例如:
        Glad to meet you. (遇见)  很高兴见到你。
        I go to the airport to meet her.(迎接)我去机场接她。
3. he
he 意为“他”, 是人称代词,并且是人称代词的主格形式,在句子中做主语,通常位于动词的前面或者句子开头。例如:
He is a student. 他是个学生。
he 的宾格是him, 在句子中做宾语,通常位于动词的后面。例如:
I like him. 我喜欢他。
he 的形容词性物主代词是his,意为“他的”。用于名词的前面。例如:
His name is Mike. 他的名字是迈克。
【注意】其他的人称代词也有相似的用法。例如:

4. speak
speak一词强调说话的能力、对象和方式。用作及物动词时后接表示语言的名词作宾语;用作不及物动词时,后接介词to,表示“与……讲话”,一般用于打电话用语中或较正式的情况下。例如:
They can speak Chinese. 他们会说中文。
May I speak to Mr. Black? 请问,我能和布莱克先生讲话吗?
【拓展】
(1) say用作及物动词,强调说的内容。若指“对某人说”用say to sb.来表示。例如:
Can I say it in English? 你能用英语说它吗?
(2) tell经常作及物动词,意为“讲述,告诉”,后常接双宾语,侧重把一件事情传达给别人。常用结构是tell sb. to do sth. 意为“告诉某人做某事”,其否定形式为tell sb. not to do sth.,意为“告诉某人不要做某事”,tell sb. about sth. 意为“告诉某人关于某事”。  例如:
 My mother tells me to get up early.  我妈妈告诉我早点起床。
5. have
   have作为动词,有have和has两种形式,have用于第一人称,第二人称和第三人称复数。has用于第三人称的单数。have的词义很多,常用以下几种:
(1) have作为“吃”讲时,常与三餐构成动词词组:have breakfast/lunch/supper  吃(早饭/午饭/晚饭);作为“喝”讲时,构成短语have a drink(=drink)。
(2) 作为“进行,举行”讲时,构成如下短语:
have a lesson 上课   have a birthday party 举办生日宴会
(3) 作为“有“讲时,构成:
have a yellow bag(有一黄色的包);have a big nose(有一大鼻子)
(4) 作为“经历”讲时,构成:
have a good time(玩得开心)= have fun;have a summer holiday度过暑假
【拓展】
动词have与不同的词结合表示不同的含义。例如:
have a meeting            开会             have a party              举行聚会
have breakfast            吃早饭            have a look               看一看
have a class              上课               have a good time          过得愉快

6. a / an
a/ an 是不定冠词,表示“一个(支,把……)”。表示泛指,可以用于第一次提到某人或者某事。例如:
a book 一本书   an old man  一个老人
 a ruler 一把尺子   a pen 一支钢笔
 I have a bike. The bike is yellow. 我有一辆自行车。那辆自行车是黄色的。
a/an只能用在单数可数名词前面。a 用于辅音音素开头的词前,an用于元音音素开头的词前。例如:
a bike  一辆自行车   a desk 一张桌子  (/b/ /d/均是辅音音素,故前面用a)
  an egg 一个鸡蛋  an orange 一个桔子  (/е/ /ɔ/ 均是元音音素,故前面用an)
7. and
and是并列连词,意为“和”。它可以连接两个或者两个以上并列的词、短语或者句子,有时不需要翻译出来,可以用来表示:
(1) 并列关系      例如:
  My mother and my father are both teachers. 我爸妈都是老师。
(2) 承接关系        例如:
   This is my book,and that’s your book. 这是我的书,那是你的书。
(3) 强调反复、连续    例如:
They laughed and laughed. 他们笑了又笑。
8. want
   want 动词, 意为“想要,需要”。常用于一下结构:
(1) want sb. to do sth. 想要某人做某事     例如:
He wants me to play with him. 他想让我和他一起玩。
(2) want to do sth. 想要做某事  例如:
I want to have a rest. 我想要休息一下。
(3) want sth. 想要某物
She wants a pen. 她想要一支钢笔。

  句式精讲
   1. What’s this/that in English?
“What’s”是“what is”的缩写形式,意为“……是什么?”。本句是用来询问某种东西的英语说法的常用疑问句,与中文语序不一样,疑问词what总是放在句首的位置。
句中this意为“这个”,是指示代词,用来指离说话人较近的人或事物。例如:
This is a pen. 这是一只钢笔。
当指离说话人较远的人或者事物时,用that。例如:
That is my school bag. 那是我的书包。
【注意】这个句子在回答的时候要用人称代词而不用指示代词。例如:
— What’s this in English? 这个用英语怎么说?
— It’s a table. 它是一张桌子。(正确)
— This is a table. 这是一张桌子。(错误)
   2. You’re welcome.
 “You’re welcome.”是 “You are welcome”的缩写,意为 “不客气、不用感谢”,是别人向你表示感谢时的礼貌答语。
也可以用“That’s OK. / Not at all. / That’s all right.”等来回答。例如:
-Mary, is this your ruler? 玛丽,这是你的尺子吗?
 -Oh yes, it is. Thank you. 奥,是的。谢谢你。
 -You are welcome. 不用客气。
【拓展】
“welcome”可以表示“欢迎”;“You are welcome”还可以表示“你是受欢迎的”或者“随便用”。  例如:
Welcome to China. 欢迎来中国。
    Welcome to our school. 欢迎到我们学校来。
        -Can I come over and see you? 我能顺便来看你吗?
        -Yes, you’re welcome. 可以,非常欢迎。

 “That’s OK. / Not at all. / That’s all right.”除了可以回答“Thanks.”之类表示感谢的话以外,还可以回答“sorry”之类表示道歉的话,意为“没关系,没什么”。但是“You are welcome”只能用来回答别人的感谢。  例如:
-I’m sorry, I’m late. 很抱歉,我迟到了。
         -That’s all right. 没关系。
3. Please give this letter to Maria.
  give this letter to Maria= give Maria this letter。give sb. sth.= give sth. to sb. 意为“把某物给某人”, 如果所给的东西用代词代替,只能用give it / them to sb.。    例如:
She gives the letters to her daughter.= She gives her daughter the letter. 她把信给她女儿。
   Please give the ruler to him.= Please give him the ruler. 请把这个尺子给他。
   Please give it to him. 请把这个东西给他。
4. Then ask the student wearing the mask to guess the character.
ask sb. to do sth.为固定结构,意为“要求某人做某事”,其否定形式为ask sb. not to do sth.,意为“要求某人别做某事”。例如:
He asks Tom to stay with him. 他要求汤姆跟他一起留下。
Miss Zhang asks Jack not to come late again.张老师要求杰克不要再迟到了。
【拓展】ask的常见搭配:
(1) 与介词 for 连用,有“要求得到”的意思。例如:
Mary asks her father for money.
玛丽向她父亲要钱。
(2) 与about 连用,表示询问或打听关于某事的情况。例如:
Uncle Hill asked about you the other day. 前些日子希尔大叔问起过你。
 5. He is in black.
“in+表示颜色的名词”,意为“穿着什么颜色的衣服””。in指穿的状态,意为“穿着,戴着”。但它不能作谓语。例如:
The girl in blue is my sister. 那个穿蓝色衣服的女孩是我的妹妹。
She is in red today. 她今天穿红色的衣服。
【拓展】辨析:put on,wear与in
put on, wear与in都有“穿,戴”之意。
(1) wear指穿的状态,意为“穿着,戴着”。例如:
She is wearing a red skirt. 她穿着红裙子。
(2) put on指穿的动作,意为“穿上,戴上”。例如:
He is putting on his shoes. 他在穿鞋。
   (3) in指穿的状态,意为“穿着,戴着”。但它不能作谓语,后常跟表示颜色的词。例如:
