一、教材依据

人教PEP版五年级上册Unit 6 In a nature park Part A Let’s spell,即教材60页。

二、教学内容

本节课主要学习字母组合ou的发音规则,分为Read ,listen and chant; Read,listen and circle 以及Look,listen and write三部分。

三、教学重难点

1、教学重点:通过学习,学生能够感知并掌握ou在单词中的发音规则;能够拼读符合ou发音规则的单词。

2、教学难点:通过学习,能够根据单词读音写出符合该规则的单词。

二、教学目标

1、知识目标:

(1).学生能够感知并掌握ou在单词中的发音规则;

(2).能够拼读符合ou发音规则的单词。

(3).能够根据单词读音写出符合该规则的单词。

2、能力目标:

引导学生积极参加小组活动,促进他们养成动脑、动口和动手的好习惯,初步形成主动学习的意识。

3、情感目标:

进一步提高学生对英语的学习热情和学习兴趣,发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。

三、教学准备:

提前制作、截取多媒体资源,包括动画视频、语音的PPT幻灯片课件、单词苹果卡片和小奖品等。

四、教学过程:

Step1. Warm-up & revision

1、Free talk:

T:Hello, everyone  Ss:Hello, Miss Wang.

T:I 'm your new teacher today.Nice to meet you . Ss:Nice to meet you,too.

2、Let’s sing a Phonics Song together.

(设计意图:在Phonics Song的歌曲中开始本节课,可以调动起学生学习的兴趣,并且在歌曲中有26个英文字母辅音的发音方法和相应的单词,在这里达到了复习旧知的作用,也给后面的教授内容做好了铺垫。)

Step 2.Lead -in & Presentation

1、Today is Sunday, Let’s go to a nature park----my hometown, so today we will learn Unit 6 In a nature park A Let’s spell.follow me , three times, Ok?(揭示课题)

(设计意图:在情景对话中很自然的导入新课,让学生可以很快的融入英语课堂的氛围中,大大提高了学生的学习效率。)

2、In this nature park, there are many mountains, and also there is a big house(板书), in front of this house, there are many beautiful flowers. My friend and I are playing. Suddenly, I listen, a sound(板书)“zhizhi”, what happened? Oh, It’s a mouse(板书) in my house. How many mice are there? Let’s count (板书)together, Ok?(板书mouse)

4、 Can you find the same point of these words? Yes, they all have the same letters “ou”. What else? the letters of “ou” pronounce /au/(板书), Ok, follow me, /au/, three times. And we can try to spell these words, like this /h//h//h//au//au//au//s//s//s/,/h//au//s/,/h//au//s/,/haus/.

依次类推,教授其它单词sound,count,mouse等。确保每个学生都要会读/au/,和会拼读整个单词。

(设计意图:确保每个学生会读双元音/au/,并且让生学会本节课中含有/au/的单词发音。)

3、Now, Let’s look at the video about the pronunciation of “ou and ow”. Let Ss follow it.

(设计意图:让所有学生跟着视频再感知双元音/au/的发音,并且试着拼读含有ou和ow的单词,让学生初步感受自然拼读法,使生大大的增加了学习的兴趣。)

Step 3. Practise

1、Pick apples

It’s 12 o’clock. Are you hungry? I’m hungry. Look, there is a big apple tree, there are many apples in the tree. They are delicious.Do you want to pick apples? I want to pick an apple and eat it. But when you want to pick an apple, you should spell the words on the apple first. For example, I want to pick this apple, I must spell it like this /k//k//k//au///au//au/, /k//au/, /k//au/, /kau/. Then you should classify these words into two groups, you should decide which group is this apple in? Group “ou”, or Group “ow”.

(设计意图:在这一环节中,教师先示范拼读苹果树上的单词,再叫优秀生上台来拼读苹果树上的单词,并且给单词分类。在这个过程当中,其他学生在听和观察的同时,也是一个学习的过程。)

2、Magic box

Now, Are you tired? look, what’s this? It’s a magic box, Let’s play a game, when I throw the box, the word on the top of the box, you should try to spell it. First, I will throw the box and spell the word. Then who wants to come here, throw the box, who? Any volunteer? Thank you.(师和生先示范) Now, it’s your turn, let’s play this game in your group , you throw the box , and then spell the word. Then listen to the rules of this game: (1)Everyone do it one by one, from the leader of every group. (2)Please be quick! 8 stars for No. 1 group, 7 stars for No. 2 group... Ok,One, two, go.

(设计意图:这个Magic box游戏,在学生学习本节课内容的基础上,让每个孩子都参与到学习中来,试着拼读盒子上单词,让他们在小组合作中互帮互助,更让他们体会到团结的力量,学会和别人合作的能力。)

3、Let’s try to chant together. Ok? Then Let’s read it together.

(设计意图:在这里,我让学生在chant中体会有ou和ow单词的发音,学生学习积极性很高。在唱完之后,我让学生再读一读本节课的chant, 让单词教学回归到句子当中,做到字不离词,词不离句。)

4、Today we have learned the pronunciation of “ou” and “ow”, Now Let’s look at the rules of “ou” and “ow”. Let’s read it together.

(设计意图:在课堂的最后,给学生总结出有字母组合ou和ow的单词发音规律,让学生更加清楚ou和ow什么时候该发/au/, 什么时候发/u:/或/^/。)

5、Now, please turn to page 60, Let’s do the exercises together. Take out you pencil or pen in your hand, Let’s do it.

(设计意图:在学完相应的知识点之后,做适当的练习题巩固是很有必要的。在这一部分中,让学生能做到见词能读,听词能写的目的。)

Step 4 Summary and home work

1、Today we have learned the pronunciation of “ou” and “ow”. After class, with your partners, to find the words or the text, and read it more and more, because Practise makes perfect.

2、Write the words on the blackboard three times, ok?

(设计意图:课后布置了一个写的作业,使学生听、说、读、写能力得到全面提高。)

自己做学具,课后和搭档多练习有关/au/发音的单词,熟能生巧。

(设计意图:第二个作业在小组合作中让学生完成,能力强的学生多干、多说,能力弱的学生可以跟着学习。学生们在magic box的游戏中练习发音,学生的学习积极性特别高,学习效果特别好。)

3、Let’s look which group is today’s winner? Let’s count together.

(设计意图:孩子们上课表现的都很积极,所以在课堂最后一定要展示他们努力的结果,这样才能最大的调动他们学习的积极性。)
